Why only celebrate the spirit of giving in December? Join us for IGA’s Inaugural Halfmas Charity Event. Our wonderful Charitable Giving Committee has a fun night with a great purpose planned for us, including a special guest from the Texas Humane Legislation Network.
Our charity for this inaugural event is the Don’t Forget to Feed Me Pet Food Bank (DF2FM) - Home Not Alone program. This great program makes sure no senior has to decide between their furry friend and their own needs. We will spend our time together on this special night preparing pre-portioned pet food bags to be delivered by DF2FM to qualified seniors in 13 Tarrant County Senior Centers. We ask that members bring a bag(s) of DRY ONLY cat or dog food. Help carrying food will be provided. No treats please, dry food only.
Please join us for some holiday spirit, summer style. It’s never the wrong time to do something right.
Don't wait till December! Join us this week for a break from regular meetings, a chance to do some good, and most certainly a great time!
*Please make a note that this meeting will be at a different location to accommodate our charitable project and to have space for all attending members. We will be at The REC of Grapevine, Classroom 1 (on the fitness side) from 7-9p.
